Dr. Martin Brudy - Vice President, Technology

  • Dr. Brudy was appointed VP Technology at the GMI headquarters, Houston, in October 2006. He is responsible for directing and managing the overall technology and software development of the Company.
  • From 2001 until September 2006, he was Director of GMI’s Europe/Africa region, headquartered in Mainz, Germany, with responsibility for all sales and consulting operations in that region.
  • Immediately prior to joining GMI in 2001, Dr. Brudy was a Senior Engineer at Statoil’s Research Centre for Drilling and Well Technology.
  • Prior to joining Statoil, he was an assistant to Professor Karl Fuchs and a Research Assistant at the Geophysical Institute at the University of Karlsruhe.
  • Dr. Brudy has extensive research and consulting experience in the areas of in-situ stress, sand production prediction, wellbore stability, petrophysics, and wellbore imaging
  • He received his Ph.D. (with honors) in 1995 as a member of the faculty of physics at the University of Karlsruhe, Germany.
