RELEVANT TRAINING

Enhance reservoir production, book more reserves, and mitigate drilling risk by getting a better look at wellbore image data, from acoustic to electrical to optical.

Enhance Reservoir Production

Perform detailed fracture analyses, including: measurement and classification of natural fracture and fault orientation, distribution, and apparent aperture, as well as the discrimination of structural from stratigraphic dip. Sort out drilling-induced vs. natural fractures and faults

Book More Hydrocarbon Reserves

Characterize sedimentary features and measure sedimentary dips and thicknesses. Comprehensively classify lithologies, sedimentary features, and textures to enhance your knowledge of porosity and permeability to increase profitability.

GMI•Imager CD™
Customers who do not have a license for the GMI•Imager software can still have access to their project images. Data can be archived on CD-ROM complete with a version of GMI•Imager linked to that particular data set. This version of GMI•Imager is fully functional and has all the analysis cap abilities of the full version.
The image data can be fully analyzed, printed, edited, and saved. Derivative data files from the initial project set may also be accessed, but no other file formats can be imported.

Data conversion and quality control are performed by trained GMI geologists and geophysicists to provide calibrated, reliable image dat a that may be readily distributed to all project personnel.
Mitigate Drilling Instability

Characterize compressive, tensile and shear failures of wellbores to accurately constrain stress magnitude and orientation and in-situ rock strength. No ambiguities. No surprises.

Powerful Tools for Enhanced Decisions

Do more than just see images. Make better decisions through a number of analytical tools:

  • See wellbore image data in full-color "unwrapped" views, polar cross sections, 3-D cylindrical views, log profile views, and more
  • Automatically measure depth, dip, and dip direction of natural fractures, faults, and stratigraphic contacts
  • Get unique, simple, measurement tools for detailed evaluation of wellbore breakout orientation and width, as well as the orientation of drilling-induced tensile wall fractures
  • Measure and classify stratigraphic intervals with a built-in classification system based on standard industry lexicons for lithology, textures, contacts, and bedding types
Leverage GMI•Imager with Other Applications

We've worked hard to make using GMI•Imager easy overall:

  • Easily classify and describe image log features
  • Make quick decisions with menus, dialog boxes, quick-scrolling, re-sizing, and interval selection
  • Enhance, calibrate, re-scale, and plot Image data
  • Use as stand-alone application on Windows 98/2000/NT/XP
  • Access project image data archived on CD-ROM, complete with a version of GMI•Imager linked to your data sets
